In 1985 at the tender age of 16 Robert started his first steps on the bumpy path of tattooing. So...he built himself his own equipment, like wooden-grips with bound needles held together with cottonthread to hold colour.

In 1987 he became aquainted with Otto, a then well-known tattooist out of the East Berlin punk-scene, and learned through him, how to build tattoomachines from elektric razors. Some of these machines you can find at the showcase in the „All Style Tattoo“ shop.

To be able to tattoo, and at this time tattooing in East Germany was forbidden and one would be imprisoned as punishment, one had to get colours through friends in the West, who would smuggle them through.

So... passed many years of „illegal“ tattooing until 1989 when the „wall“ came down, Robert opened the then „All Style Tattoo“ Berlin on 01.06.1992. In 19996 he expanded and opened „All Style Tattoo“ in Straussberg, which in the meantime since a few years belongs to friends.

Since April 2003 miss Nico has been the head of the studio in Berlin, while Robert took roots in Spain. Now he works again threeedays of a week at the „all Style Tattoo“ shop.
